NOminations for Nurturing Futures Awards

Nomination Categories:

  • Children Welfare Advocate Award: For an individual whose outstanding work in supporting the health and welfare of children shines in our community.

  • Community Organization Impact Award: For a membership or social organization that has devoted significant resources and time to supporting babies in our community.

  • Corporate Champion for Babies Award: For a corporation or business with significant contributions, volunteering, and leadership to the welfare of children in our community.

  • Young Hero Award: For an individual 18 and under who has made a notable impact in supporting babies in our community.

  • NEW Funder Legacy Award: For a foundation or public/private funder whose generosity and sustained commitment have significantly advanced the welfare of babies and families in our community. 

  • NEW The Phyllis Winston Everlasting Impact Award: Established in memory of Phyllis Winston, this award honors an individual whose support meaningfully advanced the well-being of children and families, and whose influence continues to have an everlasting impact in our community. Though no longer physically with us, their impact continues to be felt every day.

Grading Criteria: Each criterion/category is scored on a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest. Once graded by each judge (total of 7) and scores are averaged to find the highest score.

Point System:
1-2 Points: None or Minimal evidence of impact or effort.
3-4 Points: Some evidence but below average.
5-6 Points: Average, meets basic expectations.
7-8 Points: Above average, notable achievements and efforts.
9-10 Points: Exceptional performance, outstanding impact, and leadership.
